kaleido — Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how the kaleido mobile application ("the App"), operated by Yoshio Yuba, an individual developer based in Japan ("we", "us"), handles information when you use the App. kaleido is a vertical feed of instantly playable mini-games.

Information We Collect

The App does not require an account and does not ask you for your name, email address, or any other directly identifying information. The App collects the following data automatically:

Advertising ID — your device's resettable advertising identifier, used by Google AdMob to serve and measure ads.
Analytics events — app interaction data (such as which games are viewed or played, session length, and general app performance), collected via Google Firebase Analytics together with a randomly generated app-instance identifier.
Diagnostics — general device information (device model, OS version, app version) attached to the analytics and advertising data above.
IP address and approximate location — your IP address is collected by the services listed below and may be used to estimate a general (country- or city-level) location for ad delivery, analytics, and fraud prevention. The App does not access your precise (GPS) location.

How We Use Information

To display advertisements, which fund the App.
To understand how the App is used and improve games and features.
To measure and maintain app stability and performance.
To prevent fraud and maintain security.

Third-Party Services

The App uses the following services provided by Google LLC. Data listed above is shared with Google for advertising and analytics purposes and is handled according to Google's own privacy policies:

We do not sell your data, and we do not share it with any third party other than the service providers listed above. Game content is delivered through Cloudflare Pages; standard server access logs (including IP address) may be processed for delivery and security purposes.

Data Security

All data described above is transmitted over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).

Data Retention and Deletion

The App has no user accounts, and we do not store any data that directly identifies you. Advertising data is tied to your device's resettable Advertising ID, which you can reset or delete at any time in your device's Android settings (Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads — the path varies by device). Analytics data is retained by Firebase Analytics under Google's standard retention controls. Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
